Adjectives |
Adjectives are words that modify a noun, adding more info to it or restricting it in some way. Unlike English adjectives, Spanish adjectives have different endings for feminine, masculine, singular or plural, and they agree with the noun they modify:
Un hombre educado - An educated man
Una jirafa domesticada - A domesticated giraffe
Descriptive adjectives in Spanish usually go after the noun, but look out for the shortened ones that go before: gran big, buen good and mal bad, among others.
