Biography: After being trained at Debre Berhane Teachers' Institute and in what was then Haile Selassie University in Addis Ababa, I formally taught in Ethiopian, Eritrean, Sudanese and British institutions, including at the Language Centre in SOAS, University of London. My interests for the last six years have been in Tigrinya and Amharic languages.
